Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 21, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to NodeFn Inc. (“NodeFn”), a Canadian federal corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA). By accessing or using our website, products, and services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Services are provided “as is” and will continue to evolve; features may change over time and may occasionally contain bugs or limitations, including during testing or early-access periods.
2. Description of Service
NodeFn provides:
- CogDB, an open-source embedded graph database for Python, made available through cogdb.io and GitHub.
- Consulting services for knowledge graphs, RAG pipelines, and data infrastructure for AI applications.
- This website and related documentation and content.
3. Eligibility and Access
You may browse the website freely. We may limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services to protect the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law, with or without notice. Consulting engagements are governed by separate written agreements between NodeFn and the client; if those agreements conflict with these Terms, the separate agreement controls.
4. Open Source Software
CogDB and other open-source software we publish are licensed under the open-source license distributed with the software, not these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you by, or requires you to give up rights you have under, those licenses. Open-source software is provided “as is” as described in its license.
5. Data Practices (Summary)
Our website uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell or share personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Feedback
If you provide ideas or feedback, you grant NodeFn a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to improve the service.
7. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, NodeFn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time. Upon termination, we may retain backups as required by law and our retention policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
