By accessing or using our website, products, and services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Services are provided “as is” and will continue to evolve; features may change over time and may occasionally contain bugs or limitations, including during testing or early-access periods.

2. Description of Service

NodeFn is a privacy-first web analytics platform that provides:

Core analytics (cookie-free, anonymous) for page views and navigation.
Graph-based insights mapping user journeys between pages and sources.
AI-assisted recommendations based on aggregate metrics and public-page content analysis.
Heatmaps & scroll exposure derived from pointer coordinates and view depth (no DOM/text capture).

3. Eligibility and Access

Eligibility & Access. The Growth Playbook is open sign-up. Because we’re in beta, some features may be limited or rolled out in stages. We may throttle usage, place limits, or suspend accounts to protect the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law, with or without notice.

4. Customer Data; Roles

You retain ownership of your site data. For privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you are the controller/business and NodeFn is the processor/service provider. We process data solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the services for you. We do not sell or share personal information and do not build cross-customer profiles.

5. Data Practices (Summary)

No cookies; no personal data by default. A short-lived random session ID groups events for a single visit.
Heatmaps: pointer coordinates only; ON by default; can be turned OFF.
Screenshots: captured server-side from publicly accessible pages only; never from visitors’ browsers or behind login.
Storage: data is stored in the United States (AWS). Encrypted backups are retained in the U.S. EU data residency is on our roadmap.
Access controls: site- & user-scoped; least- privilege infrastructure; MFA for administrative access is rolling out; admin activity is logged.

6. Feedback

If you provide ideas or feedback, you grant NodeFn a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to improve the service.

7. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, NodeFn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time. Upon termination, we may retain backups as required by law and our retention policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
